rossrbl.org.uk - Ross Royal British Legion

Introduction

The emphasis within these pages is introducing more young people to the British Legion.  There are pages addressed to youthful members of Ross community and their  parents.

The older generation has played a key part in forming Ross community and it is the younger generations which will shape its future.   Remembrance events are part of Ross community life and, for many, the British Legion is about such events.  However, it is much more than that and the Legion improves life for those who have risked their lives for Queen and country.  It does that in so many meaningful ways in order to provide a choice of participating.

Explore these pages and let us know what you think.

 Aims

The prime aim of this website is to connect Ross British Legion to the community it serves and enable the community to be involved in the future of the branch..

The Royal British Legion (the Legion) was formed in 1921 as a caring organisation for people in need from the Service and ex-Service community. It aims to safeguard the welfare, interests and memory of those who have served in the Armed Forces.
